Jana Kramer, an actor and singer-songwriter who is a specialist in country music and songwriting gained prominence on television after she was cast as Alex in the last three seasons on One Tree Hill. The first two albums she made as a singer-songwriter were featured on episodes of the show that helped her debut album of the same name to make it into the Top 20 in the Billboard 200. Thirty One, her follow-up album, released in 2015, climbed in the Top Ten. She finished out the decade with appearances on Dancing with the Stars and in several TV movies alongside an assortment of singles that were not album tracks. The self-doubting Voices saw release in 2021. Jana Rae Kramer is a Michigan native who was raised on country music. Though she had a recording and acting career, her debut on screen came in the independent horror film Dead/Undead (2002) while still in high school. Kramer was a guest on episodes in All My Children, CSI: NY and Friday Night Lights during the 2nd season of the show 2007-2008. Kramer would go on to play Portia Ranson on 90210 (2008-2009) as well as Brooke Manning, in Entourage (2009), before she was tapped for One Tree Hill by the CW as Alex Dupre. Kramer remained with the One Tree Hill team until half way through its finale season (2012). Jana Kramer Kramer's run on One Tree Hill saw her signing a contract for a single with Elektra Records. In 2011 she debuted the contemporary music video for the love song of a country singer, I Won't Let Go. It was featured later on Jana Kramer's debut full-length in the mid-2012 timeframe. In the meantime, she focused on her career in music, Kramer continued to act and was in movies like Heart of the Country 2013 (which was a hit with her fans) as well as Country Crush 2016 (which would draw her fans of music). Kramer's second album Thirty One came out through Warner Music Nashville by Kramer in the month of October 2015. I Got the Boy - the album was a Top Five Country hit - as well as Steven Tyler, Aerosmith's lead singer, in a duet made the album reach the top 10 of the Billboard 200. In September 2016, her two-month stay on the 23rd episode of Dancing with the Stars ended with her finishing fourth. That year she also had an adult-oriented hit song with Feels Like Christmas with Straight No Chaser.
