Jana Kramer, an actor and singer-songwriter who is a specialist in country music and songwriting gained prominence on television after she was cast as Alex in the last three seasons on One Tree Hill. The first two albums she made as a singer-songwriter were featured on episodes of the show that helped her debut album of the same name to make it into the Top 20 in the Billboard 200. Thirty One, her follow-up album, released in 2015, climbed in the Top Ten. She finished out the decade with appearances on Dancing with the Stars and in several TV movies alongside an assortment of singles that were not album tracks. Kramer was a guest on episodes in All My Children, CSI: NY and Friday Night Lights during the 2nd season of the show 2007-2008. Kramer would go on to play Portia Ranson on 90210 (2008-2009) as well as Brooke Manning, in Entourage (2009), before she was tapped for One Tree Hill by the CW as Alex Dupre. I Got the Boy - the album was a Top Five Country hit - as well as Steven Tyler, Aerosmith's lead singer, in a duet made the album reach the top 10 of the Billboard 200. In September 2016, her two-month stay on the 23rd episode of Dancing with the Stars ended with her finishing fourth.
