Kristen Anne Bell (1980) is a popular American singer and actor. She was born and raised in Huntington Woods Michigan as the daughter of Lorelei Frygier - a nurse and Tom Bell - a television director - she is an American actor and singer. The mother of Kristen is Polish and her father German, English Irish and Scottish. Kristen discovered a passion for the arts at the age of a child. In 1992, she appeared at her first audition. She was successful and got the role of Raggedy Ann and Andy. Bell's mom signed her up with an agency just before turning 13 years old. She later appeared on television commercials as well as newspaper ads. Along with having private lessons, she began her acting career in the year 2000. Bell played a brief, uncredited role as a character in Polish Wedding (1998) in 1998. Bell was a student at Shrine Catholic High School, where she took part in drama and music club. She was the star as Dorothy in the school's performance of The Wizard of Oz. Following graduation, Bell relocated in New York City to attend the highly regarded Tisch School of the Arts and was a musical theater student. in 2001 Bell left university to perform the part in the role of Becky on Tom Sawyer. That was the same year that she also was the first to be credited in Pootie Tang (2001), however her character was deleted and her appearance exists only in the credits sequence. The year 2002 saw her first major role. Bell appeared on her first Broadway revival of The Crucible with Liam Neeson as well as Angela Bettis.
