
Teri Lynn Hatcher is the daughter of Teri Hatcher. She was born in Palo Alto California on December 8th, 1964. Her mother, Esther, was a computer programmer for Lockheed Martin, and her father, Owen, was an electrical engineer as well as a nuclear physicist. Teri studied ballet at the San Juan School of Dance and was raised in Sunnyvale, California. She was a student at Fremont High School, where she was captain of the Featherettes dance team. She was voted "Most Likely to Become an Solid Gold Dancer." Hatcher was a graduate of maths and engineering at De Anza College after which she also studied acting in the San Francisco's American Conservatory Theater. Teri admitted that her uncle Richard Hayes Stone abused her sexually starting at age 5. She assisted the Santa Clara County prosecutor with their case against Stone. Stone was responsible for the suicide of a 14-year old victim. Stone received a sentence in prison for pleading guilty to four counts of molestation and then he died from colon cancer while in prison.
